He took her hand and led her back to the elevator. They stopped one floor down, the penthouse. Michael got a key card from his pocket and walked to the door. He slipped the card in the electronic lock and cracked the door open. Now, I hope you like what I did. I didn't have any help this time. I had to rely on my own creative ideas. He looked at her with his cute little puppy dog eyes, trying to look as pathetic as he could.

Bianca sighed and smiled. "Mike, whatever it is I know I'm going to love it because it comes from you. "

He smiled back at her, but he still wasn't sure. "Ok, but you need to close your eyes. I have to be sure its perfect before you see it." He bowed his head and looked up at her with his lashes fluttering at her. He was trying to be irresistible.

"Oh come on, I'm sure it's great." She laughed despite herself. He looked so cute and pathetic. She finally gave up, "Fine."

He stood in front of her and led her in the room as he walked backwards. He wanted to be sure she kept her eyes shut the whole time. He made sure the door closed behind her. "Ok, now wait right here and no peeking."

She crossed her arms across her chest and rolled her head back in defeat. "Ok, fine, no moving, eyes shut."

Michael pulled a lighter out of his pocket and went around the room lighting all the lavender pillar candles he had ordered for the room. There were at least two-dozen of them. When he finished, he went over to the bed to make sure the hotel had laid out all the rose petals he had asked for. They had done a fabulous job. He noticed there were petals in red, yellow, white and orange all along the floor from the door leading to the bed. The rest of the petals were spread all over the white satin sheets of the king size waterbed, which was up on a platform. The platform was also surrounded by candles and roses. He hoped she thought it was as breathtaking as he thought it looked. Michael took a deep breath and walked over to Bianca. He stood behind her and wrapped his strong arms around her thin waist. He nuzzled his face in her neck and whispered, "You can open your eyes now."

She was not prepared for what she saw before her. Her chin dropped, as she looked around the room, not able to move a muscle. She realized she was standing in some of the rose petals that were spread around the room and the candles gave off the most romantic and shimmering light she had ever seen. No one had ever done anything like this for her before. She felt a tear run down her cheek as she turned in Michael's arms to face him. "This is so amazing." She sniffled as her voice cracked with emotion.

Michael placed his hands on her face and wiped her tear away with his thumb. "Why are you crying?"

"No one has ever done anything like this for me before." She lowered her head as another tear rolled down her face.

He lifted her gaze to his. "That's because no one has ever loved you as much as I do." He lowered his face to hers and kissed her long and hard.
