Missions gave the Barefoot Burglar a sensual rush, a two
million dollar high. That was her fee, but it was the sense
of challenge that drove her. She heightened the rush by
being dressed as she was. Also, it was pushing herself to
the edge by breaking into a high powered executive’s office
and leaving unnoticed that really made her tingle. This
mission was no different. She was hired to get information
on the CEO of Mann Enterprises for a high ranking executive
with ties to a government corporate fraud inquiry committee.
She knew the CEO was dirty and wanted to help bring him
down.
She inspected the
state-of-the-art PC on the desk. Her fingers felt around the
keyboard. A sticky note with a password was taped under it.
The Barefoot Burglar smirked and entered the information.
Instantly she was logged in. After reading a few emails, she
found the incriminating evidence her employer wanted. As the
folder copied to a flash drive she’d brought along, The
Barefoot Burglar looked and listened for any signs of
someone coming to the office. She felt a rush from the
thrill of the mission. As she packed away the drive, The
Barefoot Burglar noticed another folder. It was entitled,
“Sessions”. She clicked and opened the folder. In it were
emails from a lady by the name of Julia, who wasn‘t the
CEO‘s wife.
“So, Mr. Paxton has a lover.” she
softly purred to herself.
