I grew up
protected, led a sheltered life,
Never knew the ways
of the Devil ‘til I became his brother’s wife.
There was no way to
have known the way that things would be
The morning I woke
up and he was standing over me.
I had made a plan;
knew exactly what I’d do,
But everything is
different when it’s happening to you.
He took from me my
trust; all that was innocent and pure,
And replaced it
with a disease for which there was no cure.
Six months into my
marriage, the day that changed my life,
How could he love
his brother and touch his brother’s wife?
